Title: Genetics and genomics in enhancing the quality of human proteins while reducing the toxicity of viruses

Abstract:

We develop methodologies through convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to study protein productions with the targeted gene sequences and protein structures. Our targeted proteins can be either the ones that nourish our bodies or the ones that we try to weaken their toxicity of our studied viruses. In implementing our CNNs, Evens sampling and codon optimization techniques are employed to estimate suitable gene mutation rates with optimal amino acid combinations for the purposes in guiding gene editing and protein structure prediction. Various protein productions will be controlled and balanced through optimization and game-theoretic methods by controlling related chemical reaction rates among different molecular species with the aim to find suitable enzymes and reduce the virus functionalities. Typically, the dynamic interaction between human proteins and viruses will be addressed. Chinese medicines have been claimed effectiveness in fighting various viruses (especially recently in fighting Covid-19). However, their involved genetics and genomics are still interesting open problems to be studied. Our research provides a try along this direction. Furthermore, our research also provides a way in studying vaccines and antibodies.
